چکیده

Grafting cold-hardy hybrid grapevines may influence their attributes under different pedoclimatic conditions and also contribute to cold-hardiness, plant physiology, affect yield fruit composition. In a six-year study, we evaluated bud survival, development, nutrient deficiencies, yield, composition for three grape varieties: Frontenac, Frontenac blanc, Marquette. The varieties were grafted on four rootstocks: 3309C, SO4, Riparia Gloire, 101-14. final combinations own-rooted. research period indicated that hybrids affected differently by each rootstock. Magnesium deficiency was lower blanc compared with own-rooted vines, but survival grapevine development not Moreover, results related components showed there are significant differences between rootstocks vines. the least variety Marquette, where only cluster weight berry impacted. Overall, two varietals, observed greater maturity fruits of vines 101-14 3309C Marquette differently, lowest SO4. This study demonstrates hybrids, highlighting potential eastern North American conditions.

Nutrient Deficiencies in the Strawberry Leaf and Fruit.

Previous investigational work on the nutrition on the strawberry has been concerned largely with the relationship of soil and fertilizer treatment to growth and yield (5). While these studies have increased greatly the knowledge of the fertilizer requirements of the strawberry, they did not describe the symptoms of mineral deficiencies nor show the mineral composition of the plant and fruit. It...

Chemical Composition, Yield and Yield Components of Two Wheat Cultivars in Response to Salt Stress

Abstract In most southern provinces of Iran, soil salinity is a growing problem, particularly in irrigated agricultural areas, and has been found to reduce wheat yield, dramatically. To investigate the effect of sodium chloride on two wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars, four levels of salinity: 0, 4, 8 and 12 dS/m, were employed as a factorial experiment arranged in a randomized complet...
